Why it is made this way
Cluster pendants are usually sold at fixed drops, which is a decision made in a factory about a ceiling nobody has seen. Each of the five flexes here clamps at the rose with a grub screw, so the installer sets the stagger on site and can reset it if the table moves. The shades are spun rather than pressed, which leaves the faint concentric tooling marks visible on the inside — we do not polish them out, because they are the evidence of how the shade was made. Unlacquered brass is supplied as standard and will patinate; a lacquered version is available on request and will not.
