Why it is made this way
Stacking is a geometry problem: the legs must splay enough to nest but not so much that the stool trips people. Six degrees is the resolved answer — six stools reach 1.4m and the footprint stays inside the seat. The seat is solid 24mm oak rather than ply because a stool gets dragged, dropped and stood on, and solid timber can be sanded back where ply cannot.
